For this yoga class, you'll need a bolster or rolled up blanket. You'll learn more about Apana Vayu, and why taking care of this direction of breath or energy in your body is important for endometriosis, adenomyosis, and pelvic pain. You'll also be guided through a self-massage of the belly.
Finding out how to hold and move your body in a way that supports instead of hurts is what this class is all about. You'll move through some gentle poses, as well as one that's a bit more challenging, in order to connect to your pelvis and find ways to feel better in your body.
In this class, we'll look into some other ways you might support yourself, ranging from a diet low in histamine to hot water bottles and raspberry leaf tea.
You'll need a foam roller or some fascia balls for this class – you can also use tennis balls and a larger ball too. You'll be guided through a short, simple practice that you can do on a daily basis.
In this class, we'll look at the feelings that might come up for you while you're dealing with endometriosis and/or adenomyosis. We'll touch on how these conditions might affect the connection to your own body, as well as the connection to others.
You'll be guided through a sweet, gentle yoga class with the focus on reconnecting to your body, and welcoming all that is there – no matter how you feel right now. There’ll be some meditation, some sun salutations, hip openers, a gentle twist and a backbend. No props necessary.
